With developer commentary!

The Sinking City first announced to be getting a Switch port at E3 2019 where a CG trailer was shown off for the game. Now developers Frogwares Ireland have put out a gameplay reveal trailer not just showing the game in action but also working through how they got the game working on Switch and some of the changes and improvements they’ve made to it.

“We did our best to optimize the game and ensure it runs at a stable 30 frames throughout. We also improved combat a bit to have more weight and feel. Weapons now have new gunshot sounds, improved recoil and new visual effects. We also did our best to improve the game from people’s feedback. So things like crowd behavior and pedestrian AI has been tweaked along with all around additional levels of polishing and bug fixing.

Serge Chervonnyi, Game Producer

There’s still no release date for this one yet, but they promise it’ll be “sooner rather than later”.
