Satoru Iwata revealed a few extra details about Game & Wario in tonight’s Nintendo Direct broadcast.
As we already know, the game is arriving in Australia on June 29th, but Iwata-san mentioned a few other gameplay specific details to give an idea of what you might be getting into with Game & Wario.
A total of 16 game styles will be on offer for players, ranging from Gamer, Ski, Camera, Pirates, Kung Fu and what looked like a music tapping rhythm game. Camera looks to use the GamePad as a viewfinder to snap pictures, and Ski has players moving the GamePad around to direct their character on screen.
It seems that games will all be focused around using the GamePad, so everyone involved will be taking turns or sharing the controller to play.
There will also be over 200 rewards to unlock, ensuring that completists will have a lot to work towards.
Does any of this get you excited for Game & Wario’s compilation of games? Let us know below.
