3D Fantasy Zone finally classified in Australia

About frigging time.

So a few weeks ago Australia and New Zealand was meant to get the then newest Sega 3D Classics title, 3D Fantasy Zone but it never showed up.

It’s now almost a month later and we’re still waiting and we’re also now missing 3D OutRun. Not only that but every 3D Classic is on sale for 50% off meaning we’re missing out on buying all of them for cheap too.

So what went wrong? Well we tried to find out, no one would return emails and Tweets about the games to Sega just went unanswered. Many readers sent us links to replies they got indicating it was some sort of classification issue.

Until yesterday evening 3D Fantasy Zone remained unclassified here in Australia, we don’t know why it was delayed but now that it is classified the game should be out in due course – we hope. The listing on the Classification website indicates that the classification has been ‘modified’ in some way which could explain the delay.

This is also means that 3D Outrun is hopefully classified soon and can released. Right?
