3 new Shovel Knight amiibo announced

Unzip those wallets, because more amiibo are on the way. Announced today during Nintendo’s Nindies@Night presentation, Shovel Knight will be getting 3 new amiibo, one each for Plague Knight, Spectre Knight, and King Knight. They’ll be released as a 3-pack, though it’s currently unknown if they’ll be released individually as well.

Details about release and functionality are sparse at the moment, but we’ll be sure to update you when we know more. In the meantime, check out the high quality shots of these amiibo below, courtesy of Yacht Club Games.

    Why is it these guys can bring out amiibo for Shovel Knight (which I don’t really have a problem with in isolation) but they wont put a compilation of the games on a cartridge? Surely manufacturing costs can’t be an issue if they can make amiibo…
