2K Sports announces lineup for Top Spin 3

Some of the worlds best tennis players, past and present, will be starring in 2K Sports upcoming tennis game, Top Spin 3. The recently announced lineup features current stars Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova, as well as heroes from the past such as Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg and Monica Seles. 2K Sports Director of Marketing, Chris Snyder, said by including these champions from the past, Top Spin 3 gives gamers options that no other tennis game is offering. Top Spin 3 is scheduled to release this year across all major video game systems including the Nintendo Wii and DS. The game will also include signature player animations and expressions, weather changes, situation-specific behaviours and enhanced crowd reactions as well as a character creator mode. With more than 40 venues from around the world, including Roland Garros (French Open) and Rod Laver Arena (Australian Open), Top Spin 3 is shaping up to be a more realistic alternative to Wii Sports Tennis.
