Early sales figures are in for Monster Hunter 4 in Japan and as you would expect, they’re nuts.
In just two days of reported sales Monster Hunter 4 has shifted 1.875 million copies, the game has also boosted Nintendo 3DS sales with 298,000 units being sold in the same period.
That’s more 3DS consoles sold in two days than 29 times the amount of Wii U consoles sold in Europe and Australia in last reported financial quarter. This isn’t the highest the 3DS has sold in Japan though with the launch and previous two holidays still being higher.
Now the big question is, will the game come outside of Japan now?
