Super Mario Maker adds new items, web portal on December 22nd

The content update and improvements for Super Mario Maker keep on rolling out with a pre-christmas update coming on December 22nd.
The update will add three new items to the game to further mix up the Mario mayhem you can create. There’s new a ‘donut’ Bumper, a P Warp Door and a tricked out Fire Koopa Clown car. Some cool mini games should come out of that last one.
It’s not just the game getting an update, the Super Mario Maker Boom Web Portal will also go live on the same date. It’s the site where you login and view courses, save them to your NNID and they’ll be on your Wii U when you next boot up.
