Project Cars for Wii U delayed until 2015

No less than a week after announcing a distribution deal with Bandai Namco, Slight Mad Studios’ Project Cars has been delayed, but just on the Wii U.

The game will now arrive much later after the other versions of the game in 2015. Speaking to Eurogamer, Bandai Namco issued the following statement;

“We’re committed to delivering an exceptional and unique experience for racing fans on Wii U and for this we kindly ask our devoted and passionate Nintendo fans for a little more time in order to ensure the game delivers on our vision of being the most authentic, beautiful, and technically-advanced racing game on any platform.”

Now normally in news stories you remain neutral and just report the facts. But we’ve heard this song and dance before from other publishers. So instead, here’s a GIF.

    What a joke, may as well just cancel it. By their own polls that they had been running the Wii U version was the most anticipated version. So they decide to delay that version and only that version.
    Then when they launch it half a year later on the Wii U we will get to hear the next song and dance about how gamers dont buy third party games on Nintendo platforms. I wonder why!
