3DS XL charging dock will be available from Nintendo Australia

Sadly the new Nintendo 3DS XL doesn’t come with the superb charging dock that comes with the Nintendo 3DS.
However if you’re after one still you will be able to get one from Nintendo Australia directly, it won’t be in stores.
There’s no price or date as of yet, Nintendo didn’t have one yet when we asked. We’d wager though that once the Nintendo 3DS XL is in stores it shouldn’t be too much longer until Nintendo have them. We’ll keep you updated on Facebook and Twitter.
Because the Nintendo 3DS XL comes with a charger here in Australia this will probably just be the dock on sale by itself, not the charger bundle. The rest of the world will have to buy it in a bundle.

You can buy things directly from Nintendo Australia? How does that work? Why would they not sell them in stores? It should just be a freebie if you ring them up lol.
Not quite as pretty as my Mario DS/3DS holder, but it’d do the job!

I think ill skip the dock if I end up getting an XL. the original dock is crap and never charges the 3ds, I have to move the device a little to get it to start charging.
Wasn’t there an article on here only a few weeks ago saying Nintendo AU would be including a charger with the 3DSXL?

I’ll get it, only because it’s something released by Nintendo. They’re probably betting on this kind of fanboyism to get enough sales to make it worth noting.
But why they’re not being sold at retail stores is a mystery.
I’d gladly get this over a regular charger!

Any word on whether the docks are for sale yet? Wanting one ASAP so I can have my 3DS XL docked nicely with all it’s gadget buddies 😛
