Metroid Zero Mission makes its way to Aussie and European eShop this week

Our patience has finally paid off...

The GBA remake/remaster of the original Metroid game, Metroid Zero Mission, is finally making it’s way to the eShop via Virtual Console this week.

GBA Virtual Console games come with the usual suspend states, as well as a nifty scan of the original instruction manual.

While it is a nice remaster, and in some ways a reimagining of certain parts, Zero Mission is probably most well known for introducing the Zero Suit, and very heavy stealth based gameplay, in a new chapter played after the main game. All we need now is Other M, and Prime Hunters, and we’ll have a full set of Metroid games on the Wii U!

And Metroid 2. And Metroid Prime: Pinball, which was way better than it ever deserved to be. That game was amazing.
