Full list of 3DS home menu themes detailed and priced for Japan
Do you have a 3DS? Are you finding a lack of style in your home menu? Well don’t even worry, as Nintendo have shown off a huge amount of themes heading to your 3DS, due out this October.
There are Mario themes, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter, on top of more general themes like hanafuda and classic polka dots and stripes. A lot of these themes will match up with the faceplates of the New 3DS, so you can coordinate if you really feel the need.
The prices listed on the page here are about 100-200 yen, which would be a couple of dollars each. The themes are due out mid-October, so we’re just left to shop with our eyes for now! It’s unlikely we’ll get all of the same themes on offer here.

Pretty dissapointed that the cover plates are only for the regular New 3DS, though. I really wanted the XL, but this now has me in two minds…
Same here I don’t know which to get… I’m leaning towards the New 3DS tho its only an inch difference?
