EB Games Australia will take your Nintendo NX preorder already

The codename isn’t yet 24 hours old and the machine still at least two years away, but EB Games Australia has opened up pre-orders in store for Nintendo’s next machine.
A post on their Facebook wall this morning which announced that you can now preorder the system in store now. Presumably it isn’t online so they don’t have to put a (temporary) price next to it. The minimum usually for an EB Games hardware preorder is $50, that’s $50 you possible won’t see until possibly 2017.
You’re betting off keeping that money in your own bank account accruing interest instead of EB doing the same.

Absolutely ridiculous. In pulling this idiotic stunt, they’re jeopardising sales of Wii U (not that they care, considering that they aren’t even including the Wii U on their home page banner). We won’t receive any information about this system until 2016 at the *earliest*, though a late 2016 release wouldn’t surprise me, though it would be a touch too soon considering that the Wii U still has a lot of potential ahead of it and the New 3DS has only just been released.
actually cause this wont have a pice, 10 bucks could be enough to order it. if you put 10 bucks on it a month between now and its maybe 2017 release you will be set
I thought eb games gets all the exclusive content eg Zelda 3ds etc etc
Maybe nintendo Australia have emailed them saying to do it
its great for hype!!!!
It’s interesting that everyone has assumed this new platform os hardware. An interesting theory I’ve read is that it might be an iTunes esque system, to incorporate their expansion into smart devices, tablets, laptops etc.
For the first time in a while, I’m kinda interested to see where Nintendo goes with this.
