Double Dash’s Yoshi Circuit returns in the first Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack

Slowly but surely Nintendo is revealing all of the content that will be in the first Mario Kart 8 DLC pack which is due out next month.

Today it’s a GameCube classic with Mario Kart Double Dash’s Yoshi Circuit making a return. A new trailer showing off the track has also been released and we’ve included it below.

Yoshi Circuit is the first track in the first downloadable content pack to be officially revealed. Earlier promo artwork has showed that Wario’s Gold Mine from Mario Kart Wii in the game as well as a track based on F-Zero, Excitebike and The Legend of Zelda.

We already know that Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach and Link will be racers and that the Blue Falcon, B Basher and Master Cycle will be included.

    I believe this is the first re-remade track. Yoshi Circuit was also in the Lightning Cup on MKDS.

    Baby Park FTW. An authentic retro course and MK8 anti-gravity möbius loop track (like the 8 logo) would be amazing. After taking away GC disc backwards compatibility on the Wii U and not introducing GC VC it would be the next best thing on current hardware. It would take some time to adjust to not do snaking after so many laps of 2 TVs, 2 GCs, 2 MK:DD with WaveBirds and broadband adapter but HDMI and HD with force feedback would be worth it!
